Results From Our Latest Fundraiser

If you have been following us and our recent fundraising we put together a golf tournament to raise money for Alyssa Trujillo you can read more about her here.

Our event was held at the Birdie Golf Center located in the Heart of Ogden, where we had over 100 people sign-up and come to play and support our fundraiser.

The scramble golf event was for teams of two and they played 9 holes, those with the highest scores took home some really cool prizes:

1st Place - 2 smokers from Home Depot,

2nd Place - 2 Golf Bags from Uinta Golf,

3rd Place - Gift Card to Birdie Golf & $150 Smith Edwards.

We also held a Drawing for the Lakers & Jazz tickets and the winner of those was Bart Weber.

Everyone had a really great time, playing golf, eating food from Roosters, and supporting Alyssa.

We want to thank all of our wonderful sponsors of the event as well:

Serio Construction, Peony Field Interior Designs, RLK Electric, and Jabba's Handyman Services.

Henry Osti’s foundation Ride Your Dreams Everyday donated a considerable amount, and we greatly appreciate the donation from the Nonprofit Ride Your Dreams Everyday.

We greatly appreciate all of our sponsors and their donations and help.

We are thrilled that we were able to raise a total of $2,700 for Alyssa!

*This was 100% of the proceeds that went to Alyssa after expenses.

Below is a gallery of some of the amazing people that came to support Alyssa and join the golf fundraising event.

Finally, here is a response after our successful fundraising event, from Taneasha & Alyssa:

Just an update on the donation from your community foundation to Alyssa Trujillo. We have been able to pay for medical deductibles, prescriptions not covered by insurance along medical supplies. She has been able to buy some winter clothing and personal hygiene supplies. It helps with gas to get to and from doctor’s appointments since she totaled her car after falling asleep due to her heart condition. We spend it slowly to make sure it lasts and we are so thankful for each person who donated to help our family. With her not being able to work she is living off all donations. We look forward to the next fundraiser!”

Thank You,

Taneasha and Alyssa Trujillo

We are so thankful to everyone who donated and supported this fundraiser. We can’t wait to share more information with a Bowling Tournament at the end of March the next event for Alyssa.
